Simultaneous interpretation is carried out in an acoustically insulated booth equipped with a headphone and microphone, the room must have a booth in accordance with ISO 2603 regulation in case of fixed installations and in accordance with ISO 4043 regulation in case of mobile systems. At least two interpreters must be present in each booth. The working day is about 7 (seven) hours. Performance with only one interpreter in the booth at time is allowed only for one hour.

CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING SERVICE

Consecutive interpreting (does not require the use of technical systems) is carried out with the interpreter physically present among the parties. The interpreter listens to the speaker’s speech and then translates it into the other language. For the consecutive interpreting service, the working day is about 7 (seven) hours, with one interpreter for each language. Performances with only one interpreter at time for two languages, are allowed only for the duration of 4 (four) working hours.

LIAISON INTEPRETING SERVICE

Liaison interpretation ensures informal understanding for small groups of people It does not require the use of technical systems The interpreter listens to the speaker’s speech and then translates it into the other language. For the liaison interpreting service, the working day is 7 (seven) hours, with one interpreter for each language. Performances with only one interpreter for two languages, are allowed only for the duration of 4 (four) working hours.

WHISPERED INTERPRETING SERVICE

The whispered interpreting service is a simultaneous translation whispered directly into the listener’s ear. It does not require the use of technical systems The interpreter listens to the speaker’s speech and then translates it into the other language. For whispered interpreting service, the working day is about 7 (seven) hours, with one interpreter for each language. Performances with only one interpreter at time for two languages, are allowed only for the duration of 4 (four) working hours.

CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS

Certified translation shall be provided by those who submit documents intended for countries of the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland), Ireland or the United States of America and, in general, for English-speaking countries. “Sworn translation” is certified translation made by an official translator who has taken a general oath at an Italian court. The sworn document translation is almost always required for diplomas and certificates, as well as for legal acts, contracts, letters of appointment and generally in all cases when official confirmation from the translator that the translated text corresponds to the original is needed. The oath statement must be drawn up by the person who has done the translation and, therefore, is responsible for it. Usually the oath statement is submitted along with the translated document. The translator must personally submit a document that will be certified/sworn. The sworn translation of the text is called so because after the translation of the text, the authorized translator comes to the court to make and register an official oath statement and swear the translation exactly corresponds to the original document attached thereto
